Off to a not so great start
So, the day after I decide to sell my soul to a marathon, I wake up at 7:20 and don’t have time to run AND get to work on time. Fan. Tas. Tic. In my defense, I couldn’t sleep last night, so I figured I needed the extra nappy time. Not tonight, though. I will be up in the morning and in the park, no matter what.
What I need is a plan. The first step will definitely have to be forming a routine. I know me and I know that given the opportunity and without proper motivation, I will put off all the necessary training for a later date (read: too late). That means habit and that means getting out of bed in the morning. The second step will need to be a set of goals. Perhaps the ability to do 13 miles by my birthday. I dunno, I’ll hammer that out in a bit. First thing first: run tomorrow.

just make sure you don’t overtrain! Get a marathon plan recommended by a running site, and make sure you take it slow. You have tons of time until April.
